Using an Android device with a personal VPN guarantees:
- a much lower failure rate,
- greater stability,
- no dependence on third-party services.
As you already know, Smart TV applications rely on external backend services, which entails a risk of malfunction ranging from 10% to 70%.
For this reason, we would like to remind you that the new app should not be considered the main solution, but rather a fallback option for those customers who do not wish to purchase an Android device with VPN.
We cannot guarantee that the app will always remain available on Samsung and LG stores, nor that the Privacy Mode system (VPN) will not one day be limited or banned by protection systems such as PiracyShield.
We therefore invite you to carefully evaluate before suggesting a Smart TV app as the first choice, being already aware of the risks.
The new application is called Orbixplayer. It is still being optimized: it has some minor bugs, but the developers have proven to be responsive in improving the project quickly.

Il nostro team è costantemente attento a ciò che accade nel nostro settore. Da mesi siamo focalizzati su Piracy Shield, per offrire a clienti e reseller la migliore esperienza possibile, anche in scenari complessi come quelli attuali.
Stiamo per introdurre due applicazioni BETA sviluppate per bypassare i blocchi imposti da Piracy Shield:
- Maverick: basata su un sistema P2P decentralizzato per resistere ai blocchi degli ISP. Soluzione sperimentale attualmente in fase BETA.
- Alpine: utilizzerà la rete Onion (TOR) per decentralizzare la connessione e generare punti di uscita casuali. Soluzione sperimentale in fase di sviluppo. Non adatta a reti lente.
Entrambe sono pensate come strumenti di supporto temporaneo per garantire continuità di servizio nei casi in cui l'uso della VPN sia complicato o rifiutato dal cliente.

Per supportarvi nella gestione di questi casi e alleggerire il vostro lavoro di migrazione, abbiamo predisposto una serie di soluzioni alternative sperimentali:

Our team is always attentive to what's happening in the market. For months, we have been focused on Piracy Shield to offer both customers and resellers the best possible experience, even in challenging conditions.
We are about to launch two BETA applications designed to bypass the blocks imposed by Piracy Shield:
- Maverick: based on a decentralized P2P system to resist ISP-level blocks. Experimental solution, currently in BETA.
- Alpine: uses the Onion (TOR) network to decentralize connections and generate random exit points. Experimental, in development. Not suitable for slow connections.
Both are intended as temporary support tools to ensure continuity of service when using a VPN is not possible or declined by the user.
📌 Enabling a VPN now will allow you to enjoy every minute of streaming, especially during big matches, when other services may be blocked by Piracy Shield.
